IN THE YEAR 2009...

AND

You know that "all work and no play makes a man dull" (a woman too), so I think I've had a pretty good year. I'm looking forward to another year of the same. Be sure to go to Little Red House to link to blogs that are posting mosaics today. Thanks for coming to share my 2009 memories with me. laurie

I for one really enjoy your blog and your personality. I think your home is so warm and special. I hope 2010 brings you many blessings.

I look forward to spending more time at home this year and actually obtaining a home that feels warm to me.

Laurie, you definitely are the mosaic queen! Every time I come here and I think about learning that technique. In 2010 that's a project I'm taking on!

You decorate so beautifully and I always enjoy my visits.

We are covered in snow here in Oklahoma City too. It actually fell on Dec. 24 and it's still here!

Laurie, that was so cool, I've got to learn how to do that. Great job girl.

I think you played more then a little with all that holiday decorating!!! Do you hate to take it down as much as I do? I am sitting here with a cold thinking I should get some things packed away but have not figured out how to blow my nose and pack at the same time- good excuse at least!!

Laurie, When it comes to mosaics, you "wrote the book"! I love studying them, there is so much to look at. Questions: Are those ties on that table? Amazing. And I love that plaid dish. Where did you find it? I've not seen all your headers this past year. Love the Bless This House one. Also, your new one. Gotta go take down the tree & decorations. Arghhh. --Delores

Laurie ~~ Happy new Year! You certainly have the hang of mosiacs! Beautiful pics and it reminds me of many great posts you created in 2009. Snow in your neck of the woods is a bit unusual, heh? It's sure pretty, isn't it? more headed our way this week! Yikes!

Laurie, you definitely know how to have fun. I love your attitude and approach to life. The header with the snow is beautiful. No snow here, and that suits me just fine. Cold is plenty to deal with!
Stay warm and cozy inside....Sarah

That was cute! You had fun playing in 2009. I was resistant to your header change at first but now I look forward to them (this one about the snow is very cute)!

Laurie, I don't mind changing my date at all. There will be plenty of people for both parties, so the 19th is just perfect. If they have valentine cloches they can still show them on my blog. I know a lot of people decorate for Valentines that don't have anything to do with cloches. I want to play with both and I know that a lot of people will too, so this works out great for me to have my party on the 19th. You are such a dear. This will be fun to have two events to look forward to, so don't change anything at all. I have already changed the date. This is just super. Hugs, Marty

Laurie,
I hope 2010 brings you and the rest of us as much enjoyment as 2009 did. Thank you for sharing all your creativity. Oh, before I forget, wish I had one of those closets, beats climbing in and out of the attic.
