Great post Laurie, Can you imagine actually "wearing" some of these shoes. The blue platform heels just crack me up... well girl I would tobble right over never to get up again... Think I'd best stick with my good ole "semi" flats..lol... hugs ~lynne~

Hello Dearheart...

Ohhh...how much fun! Love seeing your Mama's baby shoes...they are really different from the baby shoes of today, aren't they!

Love your shoe invitation...it's just darling! Ohhh...and those pretty pink shoe cookies...too pretty to eat, I think! Hehe! Although I have been back on my low fat diet for about 3 wks. now...I would eat them!!! YES I WOULD!!! Hehe!

Girl, I must admit that I that I'm not much of a shoe girl...I bet I have less than 10 pair of shoes and I really only wear two pairs of those...my sandals and tennis shoes! Hehe! Same thing with purses...I only have 3! I must have missed out on that estrogen gene! Hehe!

Love ya, my friend! Have a fabulous Friday!!!

Argh! I forgot about that! I was supposed to do this! Maybe I'll run home and take a few quick snapshots! Your shoes are so sweet! Also, Susan @ thoughtsfromovertherainbow called me yesterday and we're planning next Friday the 31st to get together and hope you can make the trip over! We haven't planned anything yet. Would it be better if we met you in West Memphis? or downtown? Susan said something about trying to hit some garage sales Friday and going to lunch! Let me know...my email is laura29@bellsouth.net! God Bless! Lauralu :)

What a cute post. I love your mom's shoes, just adorable and how neat that you have them. The shoe gene missed me (unless you count the 30 pair of flip flops I have), but it certainly made it to my daughter! We call her baby Imelda around here. Fun post. Kathy

Dear Laurie, you always have the best posts...something cherished and sentimental and always some fun... love your Mama's baby shoes.. I love shoes myself..beautiful shoes of soft leather or fabrics really are an artform..but mostly I am in my flipflops.. year around.. you know us Califorians! Love, Cindy

Hi Laurie!

Cute post! I normally live in flip-flops, but with all the nasty leg problems I'm thinking of making some changes. One of the little bloggie gals just bought a darling pair of Ecco's in red, so I picked up a pair in black for myself. Can't wait to try them out. I love shoes and they're just so important to the whole outfit....I guess I'm going to have to drop the vanity though and get something that works better for me. :-)

Good luck on the giveaway!

Hugs,
Spencer
