WORDLESS WEDNESDAY-LOVE

This is my first time to participate in "Wordless Wednesday", and I am very late posting this today. When I saw that today's topic was "Love", I wanted to participate. Of course, it is kind of a contradiction for me to say I'm going to post anything that is "wordless"! Please be sure to check out French Lique, Texas Blog to find other postings for Wordless Wednesday. Thank you for sponsoring this Dixie.

Don't ask me what I did wrong when I scanned these pictures, 'cause I have no idea!

The wedding of our daughter:

Her groom was a fireman at the time of their wedding, so they went from the church to the reception in a firetruck.

Our son's wedding took place in a rustic, log lodge. Don't ask me how he convinced his bride to do that.

The bride did get her pink wedding cake at the lodge.

My wedding was in 1969, and styles were VERY different, and we were VERY young.

When we danced at our daughter's wedding, we weren't so young!

Don't forget to go to Dixie's Blog to see the other "Love" postings.

A note from Laura (Tomarie), who so kindly shared her home on my blog this past week:

I want to thank you all so much for your kind and sweet comments about our home! It is appreciated more than you could know.Laurie, thank YOU for asking...I will forever remember how special you made me feel today! Love ya! L~

Thanks so much for stopping by my Wordless Wednesday posting. Thanks, Dixie, for sponsoring this. Laurie

Sweetie~ I went to Visual Vamp's blog you mentione here, & saw/read her write-up & pics about Ms. Wilson. Left her (well, THEM, actually!) a long note, only to realize VV has that "Google Only" way of commenting, & I can NEVER get on there, no matter WHAT!!! ANYHOOOO, what a GREAT READ about a TALENTED photographer AND a gal with a great sense of personal style! Would you mind telling VV I said THANKS? Appreciate it!!! Love, Linda

I just love wedding photos! What a perfect post for "love" You and your hubby look pretty good out there cutting a rug! All the pictures were beautiful, but I adore your daughter's wedding gown. They are all sweet pictures. But, I think the photo of your daughter & son-in-law getting on the fire truck is really special. I mean how many people can say they got to ride in a fire truck! That is great.

I really enjoyed all the photographs immensely. The saying/cliche "a picture is worth a thousand words" may be true in some cases, but one of your pictures could take many words to completely explain and understand.

I can't think that anyone seeing a picture of the bride and groom climbing aboard a fire truck would immediately understand the picture. It is adorable with a proper explanation and will bring the couple many smiles in the years to come. So glad that you did not remain "wordless" about this or any of your pictures.
