I'm having a tea party for our three oldest granddaughters.
I've had a busy day. I posted this at 10 a.m. and I'm adding commentary at 9 p.m.
I centered our tea party table with a pink tree decorated with hearts.
The sugar and creamer belonged to my mother. The sugar bowl stacks on top of the creamer for storage.
The grands love using these "fancy" punch cups. They had to learn how to handle them since the silver base and handle separate from the glass bowl for washing. I got the Harrods tea pot at an estate sale long ago.
I bought these "Love" handkerchiefs at a going out of business sale. I'm letting them use them as coasters for their tea cups.
In addition to cookies and cake, I'll fill this swirl heart bowl with conversation hearts. We may not eat them, but we do enjoy reading them!
I used red napkins held by dainty lace napkin sleeves that I ordered from an Etsy a few years ago.
The inside and outside of the glass doors on this cabinet display vintage Valentine greeting cards.
On the piano, the "love boat" is ready for a trip around the world.
Thank you for visiting.

Hi, Laurie! Long time no see! I hope all is well with you and yours! This tablescape for your granddaughters is one they couldn't help but to enjoy! I'm sure they will grow up appreciating your efforts to treat them to fun, grownup experiences. The centerpiece is what immediately drew my intention! That's what centerpieces are supposed to do, so job well done on your part!!! Have a a safe, relaxing and fun weekend and a Happy Valentine's Day!
OMW, how fun is this and your valentine tree is totally amazing.
