I had a busy weekend. My first adventure was a trip to Memphis on Friday for the Urban Barn Market.
The displays were so cute. This is the dining area. At each table, one of the chairs had a painting attached to the back.
The weather was perfect for this outdoor sale. This display was in front of a vintage clothing booth.
Isn't this bicycle cute?
I love this paintbrush entrance. Isn't that clever?
If I had a place to put it, this little table would have come home with me.
What a cute idea. Vintage broaches frame a mirror.
Each booth did a great job of displaying their merchandise.
Wouldn't this be a great looking bar?
On Saturday, we celebrated May Fest on Main Street, a yearly event in our little hometown. We took the grandchildren to see the free show featuring the Flying Wallendas.
Their performance was breath-taking. They didn't use a net or harnesses!
Our eight year old granddaughter decided she wants to be in their show. She has blisters on her hands from performing tricks on the gym set in their back yard. On the way to church, she announced that she is almost ready for the circus. I told her I would never be able to come see her perform, because I almost had a heart attack watching people who aren't related to me.
I have such kind blog readers. Thank you for visiting and thank you for your touching comments on my Mother's Day post.

Fun! I thought the paintbrush entrance was so cute too!
It looks like a fun place. I like that little table too. Had to laugh at your granddaughter wanting to join their show. How scary that would be to watch. Lol.
Laurie, first I have to say again - your new profile photo is great. You look fantastic. I love the new look.
The Flying Wallendas' performance looks amazing, but I don't think it is wise to do this without a net or harness. Can't imagine how they can do these acts. Amazing!
The event looks like a fun time. Nice way to spend the weekend. Happy belated Mother's Day.
