At our house, everything seems to get more casual when Spring arrives, including our dinner tables. I'm sharing one of our casual tables today.
Our napkins feature a hen and the words, "Laying Mash" on a wire-design background.
The napkin rings are vintage roosters I bought at an estate sale.
Our salad and dinner plates are "Queens".
I love that the backgrounds and borders on the dinner plates are not the same as on the salad plates.
Handled jars will be filled with iced tea, and we'll use the blue cobalt juice stems for wine.
A Peony has sprouted in the middle of my egg gathering basket.
The centerpiece grouping includes a vintage rooster pull toy.
Salt and pepper shakers are a useful part of the centerpiece grouping.
I used three placemats to give the feel of a table runner.
Do you dine more casually in the Spring and Summer? No, I didn't serve chicken on this table. I didn't want our china to start clucking at us.
It's always great to have you stop by.
This post is partying with Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch and Thoughts of Home on Thursday at Poofing the Pillows.

This is super cute! Love the little hens!
Very cute Laurie- love the theme. Love how you have the hens gathered around the eggs. Those dishes are one of my favorites. I managed to get the dinner plates in black but never found the salad plates. The peony in the center is so pretty.
Love this darling table, Laurie! Your plates are fantastic: wonderful mixture of patterns. Your centerpiece is fun and accentuates your theme perfectly. And your chicken napkin rings were a great find. Thanks for sharing this. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
