The birds have landed on our mantel for the Spring season. I used a vintage tablecloth behind the vintage window.
Birds and bird nests are in front of the window. The birds-on-a-fence vase was an estate sale purchase.
The bird plates are Prima Donna.
A lot of different kinds of birds have taken up residence on the mantel.
I hung bird-related tags on the lamps. I love the quote on this one. "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words."
To add more Spring, I hung a brightly colored floral print banner.
Since I hope we won't need to use the fireplace for months, I moved the basket of Hydrangeas I used on an Easter buffet table to the fireplace.
I'm so glad Spring is here. Daffodils, Tulips and flowering trees are a welcome sight, and singing birds are a welcome sound.
Thanks for visiting me.

Laurie, the bird theme is perfect! I love everything you gathered together. The little tags are so cute and I've added to my Make This Pinterest board. :)
I'd love for you to join us this week at Thoughts of Home on Thursday.
Pretty bird plates for the bird theme on your mantle. Very clever how you used the tablecloth behind the window A cute way to continue to celebrate spring after Easter.
Have a great week…...
Laurie, I really enjoy your mantles. Love the verse on the tag on your lamp. I do birds on my mantle in June. I love using them with my magnolia and ivy.
Happy, cheerful home! Happy Spring, Laurie!
SO pretty! I love all the birdies and how you used the window.....Christine
