I'm so excited to be joining the Mexican Fiesta Blog Hop hosted by The Everyday Home. Thank you, Barb for hosting this fun blog hop.

Of course, the gentleman at the table removed his sombrero, but it looks like both of them removed their boots. Talk about getting comfortable to dine!
I started each place setting with a bamboo placemat. I added a wood tray in place of a charger. The dinner plates are Oralia for Pier One. Faux bamboo flatware completes the casual look.
I used Mexican pottery mugs that belonged to my mother, and brightly colored wine stems that I've used in many casual tablescapes.
Yellow print napkins are secured with a wood napkin ring. I added a miniature Maraca (I think it's supposed to go on a key chain) to each napkin ring.
For Mexican dip, I've used my mother's Mexican pottery bowl. You can see that I've sometimes used the wooden tray under it for cutting cheese.
A maraca, which belonged to my mother-in-law, decorates the base of the centerpiece.
I used Forsythia in a Mexican pitcher for a centerpiece.
A set of castanets decorates the pedestal for the centerpiece.
