This year, during the Christmas season, cranberries, candy canes, and lollipops are falling from the sky in our kitchen.
Elves inhabit the china cabinet, along with vintage Christmas greetings.
The grandchildren check the advent house for surprises. See my newest Santa on that bottom shelf? He was a gift from my friends, Audrey and Brandee. I love Annalee figures, and I love Santas, so they obviously know me well.
Scrooge and other characters from the story inhabit a shelf in the range alcove.
On the lower shelf over the ranges, a Santa chef is preparing Christmas food. (I wish he really was cooking the food!)
Are you ready for Christmas? This is the time of the year when I always feel like I'm not going to get it all done before the big day. If something doesn't get done, I'm okay with that. We can celebrate the birth of Jesus without having every decoration out of the holiday closet.
I so appreciate you visiting me today.

Hi Laurie, it is a treat to visit your gorgeous Christmas home. Your hutch has so many sweet details and I am sure your grands love to search for the surprises inside. Love your black chandy with those darling tree shades.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. xo
Laurie, your home is so festive and full of lovely Christmas decor! Thanks for sharing.
hugs,

I always enjoy your posts - such creative ways to decorate all over the house. I too have left some things in my closet this year, though to see my house, no one but me could tell! Merry Christmas!
