A LEAFY TABLESCAPE

Fall Tablescape-Bargain Decorating with Laurie

The leaves are starting to turn, so I made this table all about leaves.

The place setting begins with a leafy placemat.

I put a bathroom sized Dixie Cup inside a leafy votive candle holder. The cup will hold salad dressing. I laid a soup spoon on the salad service plate to use to get dressing out of the cup.

Salad will be served in these leaf shaped bowls (Clay Art).

A dessert plate (Belaverra) is the service plate for the salad bowl.

The dinner plate is Casa Stone, Autumn Waves.

I think I got the felted leaf napkin rings at Bed, Bath & Beyond at a sale after the Fall season last year. The napkins are a long-ago purchase from Pier One. This flatware reminds me of tree trunks.

I think I'm using juice stems for wine on this table, but we aren't picky about the size or shape of our wine glasses. The water stems are from a jewel tone set I've had for a few years. I used the gold color at two place settings. The other two place settings have the emerald green color water stems.

The coasters were an estate sale purchase several years ago.

The salt and pepper set on the right was an estate sale purchase, and the set on the left belonged to my mother.

I'll serve rolls from these leaves. I have no memory of where I got this server. Soon, I'm afraid I'll be able to stop that sentence after I have no memory!

The simple centerpiece was created with faux Fall leaves in a dough bowl.

Your table is a wonderful lead in to fall which seems to have gotten here all too fast. It's hard to resist the warmth of its color which you've used so beautifully.

Perfect Autumn table, Laurie. I've not seen the Casa Stone Autumn Waves. Love the shape and color. Will need to look for this pattern. Perfect for Fall, but also so much more. Great soft color!
Hope you had a terrific birthday.

Such a beautiful table for Fall. Even in Florida our leaves change colors and I have seen a few pretty ones already. I love how you kept the leaf theme going throughout your tablescape. Thank you so much for sharing over at Celebrate it Sunday. I am pinning this and sharing over at G+! Hugs! Chloe
