Faux flowers are so expensive. I never pay full price for them. I'm just too cheap thrifty to do that.
I went to the faux flower sale at Hobby Lobby and purchased one stem of this trailing greenery. I cut it in half and wired half of it to each side of the wreath to put on our front door.
I found a big plaid paper daisy on sale at Trees and Trends (normally $25, but I got it for $3.00) and used it instead of a bow. I assume the markdown on the daisy was because it was sort of crumpled, but I was able to bend and shape the petals to make it look a little better.
At the Hobby Lobby sale, I found eight stems of faux Lavender. I wired two stems to each side of two wreaths to hang on our back doors.
A simple burlap bow completes each wreath. I already had all three of these wreaths, so, for very little money, I have three wreaths for our doors.
Of course, none of the faux flowers compare to the beauty of God's creations.
It is still raining here in Arkansas. I had to open the front door to take pictures of that wreath from inside the house. I know there will be a day when we'll be begging for rain, so I'm trying to not complain, but I would like to be able to get outside and do some work in the flower beds. I know some places have had even more rain than us, and I am thankful we don't have a lot of flooding. I'm just ready for some sunshine-filled days. Is it raining where you live?
Thank you for coming to visit me.
