Our Memorial Day table is red, white, and pastel blue. I normally use a deep cobalt blue in patriotic table settings.
But, these patriotic melamine plates inspired the use of a pastel blue. See the pastel blues in this melamine plate (Moda Home, purchased at Tuesday Morning several years ago)?
The tumblers are also red, white, and pastel blue.
That's why I added a pastel blue melamine salad plate charger to my plate stack (purchased at Wal Mart long ago).
And that's why I used a pastel blue handled knife,
and pastel blue checked napkin rings. Two different red handled forks complete the place setting.
Scottie dogs provide salt and pepper.
A white vase holds faux daisies and an American flag for the centerpiece.
This weekend, in America, we are remembering soldiers and their families who have given their lives in the line of duty. This weekend, my prayers are with the families of those brave men and women.
It's always great to have you visit.
This post is partying with Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

Hi Laurie, Love your red, white and pastel blue table setting. Gorgeous plates. I love anything floral with the flags. Those scotty shakers are adorable. Wonderful table cloth too.

Your tablescape is one of the prettiest I have seen. I went immediately to Ebay to try and find some of those plates. No luck. Everything you have done to complete this looks is so lovely. Have a nice weekend.
