ST PATRICK’S TABLESCAPE

ST PATRICK TABLE

I've set the table for a St. Patrick's dinner.

ST PATRICK TABLE 2

The chargers are "Lace" by Kennex. On top of that, I sandwiched a St. Patrick's paper plate between a green depression glass plate and a clear glass plate.

ST PATRICK TABLE 3

Vintag green napkin rings from an estate sale hold shamrock printed napkins.

ST PATRICK TABLE 4

I bought the emerald green stems from an estate sale a couple of years ago, and the 60's era gold and green water glasses were a wedding gift.

ST PATRICK TABLE 5

The dough bowl in the center of the table holds green Ball jars.  When I went to the grocery store, I found a floral bouquet marked down to a few dollars, so I used it to fill the jars.

ST PATRICK TABLE 7

When I serve Banana Pudding for dessert, I'll remove the clear glass dinner plate and replace it with a small glass plate, topped with a depression glass compote.

ST PATRICK TABLE 8

That's a lot of green on one table!  Do ye Lads and Lassies like the color green?  Thank you for your visit.

Yes, I love the color green! And I have those exact green depression glass compotes from my grandmother. I use them for shrimp cocktail! A very interesting and welcoming table, Laurie! Happy St. Patty's Day! Linda

Laurie, Your table is charmingly green! I love it. I didn't think anyone else in the world had Those lovely Kennex plates. I have two of the chargers in a creamy yellow that I used for Saint Pat's a few years ago, I have been looking on Ebay for two more of them for years and have not even seen one. I get Emails and see the white once in a while but not often. I guess I better keep looking.

What a beautiful SPD table, Laurie...I think everyone in blogland knows green is my favorite color, so I am in hog heaven seeing all the green this week. I love the bright green stemware...I have them in red, but the green is so much prettier.
Happy Saint Pat's Day, Laurie!
