Since we seat approximately 30 people for Thanksgiving dinner, I have a lot of past Thanksgiving tablescapes to share.
Click on the picture if you want to see the full post for any of these tables.
I’m just re-sharing the tables from the the last two years today. I may re-share tables from previous years in a future post.
I felt like two years of Thanksgiving place settings were the most that a reader could stand in one post. 6 years or blogging about seating 30 people for Thanksgiving can generate a LOT of tablescape photos.
You will notice that, in 2012, the name of this blog was Bargain Hunting and Chatting with Laurie.
I changed the blog name, because I was afraid that the previous name was encouraging me to chat more than I should!
2012
Believe me, I don't need any encouragement to chat.
I hope you got some ideas from some of my past tablescapes. I’m so glad you stopped in to see them. laurie

You've got me thinking that platters would make better Thanksgiving day plates!! I never have enough room on my plate for all the goodies. Love your settings, Laurie!
You may start a new trend with the platter idea- I don't remember seeing that before! Imdomremembee that buffet table- love that tablecloth. Wow 30 people- that's quite a gathering!
I love seeing your tables from Thanksgivings past. There is a lot of inspiration here. I am sure to borrow some of your ideas - I hope you don't mind. I think I have eight of the ascot plates that I can use for a nice turkey day table.
WOW Laurie I love all these gorgeous table settings with your wonderful collection of plates and dishware.
I really think you could compile a book of table settings in holiday categories. It would be fabulous. Blogger has a resource to do this.
30 people for dinner is a challenge but you sure set the most inviting tables for all to enjoy.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs and Blessings
Please tell me you don't do all the cooking too! Setting beautiful tables for 30 is enough work! I love that you keep changing them year to year, that's the fun part, right!
I think my favorite today is the table for 4 with what looks like platters with a plate off center~very cool!

We have a houseful at Thanksgiving but nowhere close to 30. If that were the case someone besides me would be doing all the preparation. Thanks for the ideas. There are some here that I can incorporate into my traditional pumpkin tablescape.
Morning Laurie,
You sure have a lot of pretty Fall and
Thanksgiving tablescapes. Always nice
to see them. Great job.
Blessings, Nellie
The dessert buffet gave me a great idea... thanks!
I love the idea of platters instead of regular sized plates. There's never enough room on a plate for all the dinner goodies.
Smiles,
Carol
I love your tablescapes especially the turkey platters, what a great idea!
Everyone must feel special to sit down at your Thanksgiving table! I think if I had 30 people for Thanksgiving I'd be using plastic.
:(
Laurie, the turkey platters make great chargers. clever girl! I'm always amazed at the large # you host each holiday, and that you have special holiday dishes for these events. I know your family must love celebrating in your home.
Lovely...I also love the turkey platters. Great tables, no way to pick a fav!
Laurie ~ Your table looks just lovely. It must take forever to get ready for the relatives, and company !
I think you love to entertain as much as I like to take photo's of Nature.
I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving. and many blessings !!
