MORE FALL VIGNETTES

Fall Vignettes-Bargain Decorating with Laurie
Fall is coming to the sunroom at our house.

In the plate rack, I’ve used leaf place mats behind an Autumn banner and dinner plates with Fall colors (Ridgways-England, Apple Blossom).  Those plates are the purchase that kept on building. I bought a large set of these at a charity sale one time.  Through the years, the lady who had donated them kept giving me more pieces as she found them around her house!

On the buffet below the plate rack, I displayed a plate that I bought at an estate sale long ago  (the only marking I can read on the back of it is “Ye Olde Innes), and a little Japanese bowl that belonged to my grandmother.

On the other end of the buffet, I’ve displayed a plate that depicts a hay farm (Limoges-France, Romance), which I bought at an antique store that was going out of business, along with another small Japanese plate that belonged to my grandmother.

The toolbox that my sweetheart made for me contains a velvet pumpkin, faux pumpkins and grapes, a leaf shaped plate, and Autumn napkins.  In front of the toolbox, Japanese hand-painted salt and pepper sets are ready for use, and Scrabble letters announce that it is Autumn.

On a nearby table, I hung acorn and leaf ornaments on a metal tree.

I filled a vintage cheese box with faux berries, acorns, script apples, and leaves.

A wheelbarrow, filled with produce, serves as a Fall vignette on another table in the sunroom.
The sunroom is definitely Falling.  I’m so happy that you stopped by.

I’m partying with Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch, Inspire Me Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, and You’re Gonna Love It Tuesday at Kathe with an E.

Hi Laurie, Love your fall decor. You have the most precious fall plates. Love how you gathered the natural elements and placed them with plates too.
Love the metal tree. Not seen one used like this for fall display.
Beautiful place mats. You have created a very inviting space that will take you through the season.
Thank you for always providing tons of inspiration.
Hugs
