I’M READY FOR THANKSGIVING

That post title is a little misleading.  I guess it should read “My Tables Are Ready for Thanksgiving”.  I’m still cooking, but I am close to being finished.
I’m sharing my third and final Thanksgiving table.  The two tables I previously shared seat 18 people.  I set up a small table in front of the fireplace for four more.

I used the Fall platters as chargers on this table.  I shared pictures of these platters here.

What is Thanksgiving without a table laden with desserts, so here is the dessert table.

My centerpiece is a banana cake with caramel glaze, made in the mold I won from Cuisine Kathleen last year.  Can you tell it’s a cornucopia?  My son said it looks like a giant dog turd!  Not a very appetizing thought.

There will be cookies on this leaf server.

There will be pecan pie under this pumpkin pie!

Under the domed server, there will be individual pumpkin cobblers. (I think my serving pieces are a little confused.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  I will link this post to Let’s Dish Wednesday at Cuisine Kathleen, and hopefully, I’ll remember to link to Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.  Next post, Christmas décor – I hope!  laurie

Oh my, Laurie! So beautiful!
I don't have much fall decor, and my fall tablecloth doesn't fit the table with the leaves in it, so I am just kind of going with 'holiday', towards Christmas.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Love the idea of using the platters as plates! They look terrific and certainly make that little table for four oh so special. Great napkin rings!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Oh, Laurie! This is so pretty. I want to come have Thanksgiving at your house! I love the silverware and those pretty green glass dishes ... and a separate sweets table! And what could be cozier than a table by the fireside? You've thought of all the right touches! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Laurie, the serving table is gorgeous. I like the way your cloth drapes on your table, and all your serving pieces are wonderful. Great job!
If I were joining you, I'd sit at the table for four in front of the fireplace. I like your idea of using the platters as chargers. I'm going to remember that idea!
All the best to you and your family for a festive Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for your friendship.......Sarah
