SPRING-LIKE DINING IN THE FALL

The weather is perfect for dining outside, but it sounds like cooler temps are on the way.  So, I set the table outside for an informal supper with friends.

This happens to be my very favorite time of year to picnic so I am especially fond of this table. I love the dishes and especially that table cloth, but my favorite part of all is the picnic hamper filled with flowers. I love the way that looks!

I love those metal basket weave vintage baskets. Especially with flowers inside. Very fun S & P Shakers and plates too.

Absolutely a tempting idea for a picnic and the fruit theme is so pretty. The plates with fruit are so pretty and I love their square shape. Your glassware is Royal Worcester "Evesham" pattern and matches perfectly.

Thanks, Pam

Laurie, this is wonderful! I love those plates. They remind me of my fave china I keep on my hutch that has a little house on it. We have to take advantage of these last warm days for dining outside. Your setting truly captured the feel for dining outdoors. :)

Laurie,
The colors are great. I love how the plates differ, and the stemware does too.

We'd have to picnic in the snow if you were here Laurie!!

Your table is so pretty - love the picnic basket full of flowers!! I cut my mums which look like daisies before it snowed and have bunches in the house! Last of the flowers for awhile!

Beautiful fruit plates, Laurie. I am sure you and your friends had a great time. It is cold here today and tomorrow, in the 30's at night and 64 is the high...
