I was fortunate enough to go to school with very clever and generous friends. My classmate, Carter, and his wife, Suzie, brought me this fabulous potpourri lamp. Look at that, it has a glass plate with our class emblem on it! Isn’t that the cutest thing? I can’t wait to show it to you again at Christmas time. Yep, that glass plate is removable, and you won’t believe the Christmas glass plate.
But you’ll have to wait until Christmas to see that, because I’ve got a lot of other things to show you in this post. Carter and Suzie also brought me this set of adorable reproduction Halloween cards, and
these cute cupcake picks. (I told you my friends were generous!)
Do you remember my post here, about my lonely velvet pumpkin made by my talented friend Susie? (Yes, I have several friends named “Susie, Suzie, and Susan”. Must have been popular in the year we were born.
Susie not only brought me more velvet pumpkins. She brought velvet acorns too. Just look how pretty they are.
Having Susie visit is like having Santa come to my house, because she brings so many gifts. Susie’s gifts have been added to the buffet in the sunroom (posted about here), and
the spooky witch brew, previously posted here.

Susie’s gifts also included this cute little treat box (I told you my friends were generous!).
