After going on vacation for a week, I’ve been having trouble getting back into my blog. But, there’s nothing like a kind comment to motivate me. The Tablescaper commented that she came over to see my holiday mantel, and I didn’t have one posted. Of course, I jumped up and started snapping pictures! Thank you for the motivation, Tablescaper! Since I was already snapping pictures, I decided to snap my tablescape too.
I wish you all a wonderful holiday. laurie

Hi Laurie! Oh, I'm so glad you got prodded just a bit! Oh course you'd have a wonderful mantel all decked out! I love it and again you have so many great pieces. Be a sweetie and Happy Memorial day, Shelia ;)
Well, I'm glad you took the photos to share this patriotic goodness. You know it all makes me smile! Do you leave the patriotic things up all summer? i've don't that before, but them out for Memorial Day and put them away after Labor Day. The chef thought it was a bit too long. Think so????? LOL Your table is wonderful. What fun plates. Who makes those? Enjoy your Memorial Day. Looks like you are ready. ~ Sarah
Hi Laurie- Just checking to see if you were working ! So glad to see you are still finding tons on things to blog about. Just a natural writer! I remember reading your story and was hanging on every word. Enjoy the rest of your time off.
So very pretty, sweet Laurie! You never disappoint! Don't forget about my annual WEDDING BLOG PARTY coming up on June 8th AND I'm having a great giveaway right now! Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
Laurie- goodness you still find time to decorate for all the holidays even with all you do! Not a red white and blue thing out at my house. While getting ready for company last week I found remnants of Christmas and Easter still so I will not be winning any blue ribbons at my house!
Well of course, I love every bit of it! I'm glad The Tablescaper prompted you. I always feel the need to scroll through your pictures slowly and pick a favorite thing or two, as if I'm shopping in a store. Today, my two favorite things are the dinner plates on the table and that banner.
But really, I just love the big picture of it all.
Wow Laurie! YOu always impress me with your talent and creativity! Love the mantel, the best patriotic one ever1 Love love your table too, the outside view of your pool is fabulous! Big Hugs friend, Cindy
Your mantels are always a joy to see! So festive! Now that table is awesome. Makes me want to collect some more red, white and blue things! Hugs, Linda

You have great collectibles for every occasion. The little flags all over give it depth and whimsy!
