OOPS! VALENTINE PARTY

Oops!  I am late sending out my invitation!  When Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen and Debbie at Mountain Breaths inquired about whether or not I was going to have a Valentine party this year, I realized that Valentine’s Day was rapidly approaching.  How kind of you two to think of my party, and how glad I am that you reminded me that I need to get with the program!  I’d love for all of you to help me spread the word by copying the party invite button from my sidebar, and posting it on your blog.

You would think that Pinterest would have been enough of a reminder to me that Valentine’s Day would soon arrive.  After Christmas, I began pinning cute Valentine’s ideas (and putting away Christmas decorations).  I’m late getting my Christmas décor put away this year, so that’s why I haven’t thought about the party.  No, it is not because I’ve been sitting in front of this computer, browsing Pinterest (well, maybe it is, just a little). I’m afraid if I miss a day of checking Pinterest, I will miss something wonderful (just another new addiction of mine).  Today, I’m sharing some of the fun ideas I’ve found on Pinterest.

If I borrowed a photo from your blog, please feel free to take my “borrowed” button to display on your blog.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Look, I really have been putting away the Christmas décor.  I’ve changed the pillows on my sofa.

I’ll admit that Phyllis, a sweet and talented friend of mine since our school days, made it a little easier by making me these wonderful pillows that reverse from the cutest Christmas pattern to a monogram.  Thank you so much Phyllis.

Please don’t forget my Valentine party on February 10th.  You may link a Valentine craft or Valentine décor, or you may link a post that has anything to do with Valentine’s Day or love (a post about your love for your pet, or your love for one of your collections, or your wedding, would be a good link).  I can’t wait to see what you come up with for your party post.  I will be drawing for a prize to send to someone who links to the party (more about the prize later).

Now I'M pinning/repinning spinning with the pinning.

If I could actually bring some of these great ideas that I find in blog land and pinterest to fruition, I'd be so creative, they would change my name to Laurie.

I'm planning to be there. I supposed you'll be inviting Brad? Can Tom come too?

It would take me until Valentine's Day to put away your wonderful Christmas holiday decor, not only because there is so much but also because I don't want the magic to end.

Hi Laurie! I am planning to attend, especially since PJs are allowed. How about the ever-present heating Pad on Shoulder, my new go everywhere accessory?

I really like your sofa, regardless of whatever pillows are adorning it at the moment.
