A LITTLE DESK FILLED WITH MEMORIES

The amazing Barb at Grits and Glamour had a fabulous idea. She's hosting Tabletop Tuesday each week, so this week, I am joining the first Tabletop Tuesday.

I have wonderful memories of Daddy holding that seashell to my ear to listen to the ocean.

I'm amazed at all of the ladies in Blogville who put together such wonderful vignettes. Be sure you go to Grits and Glamour for links to all of the tabletop vignettes today. Thank you, Barb, for hosting this fun event. Thanks so much to each of you who stopped by to see the memories I keep on my little desk. laurie

  17. This is beautiful, Laurie! Your first Bible looks like my first Bible. I received it 55 years ago, this year, when I was 12. Up to then I borrowed the family Bible and had New Testaments.

I still have that Bible. It's yellowed with age. I'm still reading it. Do you remember doing Bible drills, as a child? We did Bible drills at church, usually Sunday evenings. I always borrowed a Bible without a zipper for those drills. Can you guess why? The zipper hindered speediness!:-)
