HEATING OURSELVES UP IN THE BEDROOM!

I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday, where you'll find amazing tablescapes.

Warm soup, warm fireplace, warm flickering candlelight(what did you expect to see?)

I purchased everything in this tablescape (other than my mother's berry spoon) at estate sales.

I don't know why other bloggers post their pictures crooked, and they look so artsy, and when I do it, it looks like I was intoxicated when I took the pictures! (I really wasn't--just trying to be artsy.)

Don't forget to go to Between Naps on the Porch for tablescape links. It was so nice of you to come see my little tablescape. laurie

I have news for you girl: you are artsy! I loved seeing your little fireside table in front of that gorgeous chenille sofa with needlepoint pillows. Oh I love needlepoint! BTW, crooked pictures give me a kink in my neck when I try to view them. haha --Delores
PS: It looks like your living room is the same color as mine. I painted it yesterday from "wine" to "caramel"

I am enjoying the warmer temps. I would like 75-80 better, but I won't complain. :)

I have always wanted a bedroom big enough to have a small table in with 2 chairs. When I was in college one of my professors had that and I still remember it!
Your table looks very romantic...I like the light reflected in the glass top!

Laurie, you are too funny! The setting in the bedroom looks cozy and romantic. A table by the fireplace is the perfect spot on a cold night. Your mother's berry spoon is beautiful and no reason one can't use it for a soup spoon. Love all the black and white accents in this room and the tureen is dear. Thanks for sharing this little table. ~ Sarah

Laurie, that little table for two in front of the fireplace is so cozy. Beautiful tureen. With the many Victorian silver pieces out there, who is to care if you use the berry spoon as a soup ladle...certainly not me, that's for sure!
Thanks for sharing.
