IS IT FALL YET?

If you saw my Fall blog header when you clicked on this blog, you've already seen most of the Fall decorating that I have done. Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen once said in a comment on my blog that I am a party animal. She's so right. I just can't resist a Blogville party! (For one thing, other Blogvillians come up with such fabulous ideas for posts, and I'm always desperately seeking post ideas. I'm so grateful that smart Blogvillians let me share in their posting ideas!) I am joining the Celebrate the Holidays party at It's So Very Cheri. I've just met Cheri, but she is kind enough to let me come to the party even though we just met. Nothing like a party to bring friends out of the woodwork! Thank you so much Cheri.

I've decided that having a blog is sort of like being in the retail business. Blogvillians get ready for the holidays long before most people. I'm always running behind, but when I started seeing all of the pretty Fall colors on other blogs, I wanted to rush to get out some of my Fall decor.

You didn't think you were going to leave my blog without having to see at least one mosaic, did you?

Thank you so much for visiting me. Don't forget to go to It's So Very Cheri to find links for others in Blogville who are sharing their beautiful seasonal decor. laurie

I love it all. Everything is so beautiful. I love all the berries. And absolutely, you are welcome to join the party. Anyone is welcome. I love making new friends. I don't know if you clicked on the button, under my headin The G-Force Family but if you did you know I am a VERY Social person.

I have another party on Mondays-the Knock Off Knock Out. It can really be anything but lets say you see something at your girlfriends house and love it. She has had it for years, so you can't get one. what's a girl to do? No you don't swipe it, you knock it off. You make one to look a lot like it. OR you can alter something to fit your home. Let's say you saw a set of 4 abstract prints on 4 canvas squares. they are in golds and browns and when put together they make one picture. You love it but don't like abstract and brown and gold wouldn't match your home. You find a huge poster of a Bright Red Poppy and you find 4 canvas frames at the Goodwill and you cut up the poster and make your own version that goes with your home-that is still a knock off-nothing has to be exact. OR you go out to eat at a restaurant and love the dish youhad and re-create it and it is a KNOCK OUT (the means really awesome) you just created a Knock Off Knock Out.

I hope you leave lots of comments because that is how I get to know you better.

Fall doesn't start early here in Texas! In fact, I won't be pulling out anything fallish until Oct 1st & then it will be Halloween. My true Fall decor won't make it's appearance until Nov 1st. It's just hard to get in the autumnal spirit when the temps are close to a 100. LOL

You are a party animal Laurie & you have a very festive nature...I think you even outdo me on the holidays!

Love that little farmer boy statue...too sweet!

Laurie! You really have some fabulous fall pieces. I love the cart, etc. Your collage/mosaic is beautiful. I only have five items in the condo that would qualify for fall and they are all little candle holders :0)

You made me laugh at your comment on my blog about running a retail business. I KNOW, the pressure is on! You sure have some lovely Fall items. I haven't even gotten my boxes out...what Fall things I have out, were in the closet...and seriously, I am in NO hurry to get the rest. But now, I want something pretty out like your wagon with the people and little pumpkins...see, it NEVER ends!!

You were featured for the week so you can grab my "I've been featured" button and post it on your side bar. Every single one was beautiful-I just couldn't leave any one out this week. I hope you post again and I also have a Monday party called the Knock Off Knock Out--something you make or buy that is a knock off of something expensive.
