Thanksgiving Table 7

If you've been visiting my blog for awhile, you know that we host 30 people for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm sharing a review of my tables from the last two years.

As always, I find these tables to be just my style . Just this last Thursday I had contractors come in and gut my kitchen for a remodel. Our little house is 40 years old and we suspect that the contractor smoked a little sumpthin'....."you know what I mean?" Wink! Anyway, I am washing dishes in my bathroom sink and we have at least 10 more days of cold cuts and hamburgers for dinner. I was going to use this as an opportunity to thin the herd, so to speak and get rid of duplicates and things I no longer wanted. Sadly, I want it all. I absolutely adored my red plaid wallpaper and it is gone as the new cherry cabinets would have been way too dark with that red paper. Oh well. I surely could use your great eye for design about now.

This will be the first year in a long time, without lots of people at the table. Lovely settings, I'm a traditionalist, and believe kids need to learn to eat at a formal table...! So pretty and I'm sure everyone felt special at all your dinners! That's what it is all about, Sandi said...

I think it's so wonderful of you to set so many pretty tables so everyone in your large group has a festive place to sit!! I know all your guests must look forward to it all year long!! Happy Thanksgiving Laurie!
