TABLESCAPE SAMPLING

TABLE 1

Recently, we enjoyed attending a fund raiser for a charitable cause.

Table 2

We sampled a lot of different kinds of food.  I love that there is a rooster on the smoked chicken table.

Table 3

The industrial look of those metal baskets are not really what kept me coming back to this table for another sample of those delicious homemade chips and rolls with pimento cheese or chicken salad.

Table 4

Two tables offered seafood, and both table tops carried out the seafood theme.

Table 5

Guests voted for their favorite dishes by putting money into a jar on their favorite table.

Table 6

The dessert table was a favorite of mine – not just because I love desserts,

Servers

but also because I love these servers.  I have one of these three level, folding servers, and I’m thinking of trying to add some bling to my server.

Auction Display

Brightly painted pallets served as backdrops for the silent auction.

Auction Display 2

What a great way to inexpensively make a bold statement.

Thank you for visiting me today.  laurie (still campaigning in Arkansas)

I’m linking to Centerpiece Wednesday at The Style Sisters and Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

This looks like so much fun. I would have enjoyed the inspiration as well as the food.

And I'm really inspired by the use of those pallets. I'm going to remember that~!

Looks like a lot of good food to sample, and what did you bid on and win? :-D
Who opened the refrigerator door around here? Just saw what the temps are suppose to drop down to tonight!

Hi Laurie, looks like a lot of fun to sample the foods and gather display ideas too.
Love that dessert server. I have one very similar and love the bling on it.
Do you know who the winner was??
Have fun and a great weekend.

I love this kind of function where there is so much to see and taste. I'm with you when it comes to the industrial look baskets.

Still on ye olde campaign trail, huh? It's exhausting, I know, but there's something about it that's kind of neat, too. I hope you guys are having as much fun with it as you can.

This is the kind of fundraiser I can get behind! Food!!!!! It's not only great to taste all the food, but it's really nice to see how people dress their tables to attract guests to them. There are some goodies here, and I think the last beach one before the desserts and the dessert table are my favorites.

Painted pallets!!! What a smart concept!!! I hope I can keep this in mind for my next garage sale! I'll have to pin it...my brain is not what it used to be in the memory department.

Have fun out there, Laurie!
