THE SKY IS FALLING...

THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!

Yes, that's an exaggeration, but it is almost as bad.  I've missed sweet Shelia's rooster party!  So....I'm re-posting an old post, just so I can join the party.

If you haven't seen all of the roosters around Blogville, be sure to go to Note Songs for the links.

Thank you for hosting Shelia, and I apologize for being so tardy.  Thanks to my visitors for coming to see my very late link to the party.  laurie

Wow, Laurie, I think I've found someone who has more roosters than I do. I have so many roosters and pigs that LBeau once told me, "No more farm animals."

Hope you have been well Laurie.

Take care and best wishes for a wonderful week,

I'm a whole lot later to your post than you were to the party. I had such hopes of joining that this year, but last week turned out to be completely crazy!

Love your roosters, Laurie. You definitely have a collection to crow about. (Oh, so lame...)

Hi Laurie...

Ahhh...my friend, you have some of the sweetest hens and roosters ever! Before I forget, I want to mention how darling the little red rooster juice glasses are...simply adorable! Thanks for sharing all of your fine feathered friends with us!

Well dear lady, have you been keeping busy this summer? Our summer has been extremely busy and my blogging has really suffered. I'm hoping that things will settle down a bit when Autumn gets here. We'll see! Hehe! I stopped by last week...was going to sign up for A Few of my Favorite Things party but realized that you didn't have it. I am assuming that you canceled the party or have stopped having them? I'm sorry, like I said earlier...since I have been so busy I haven't been around blogland much. Anyway, I did do a post on my studio/office on the 12th. I shared a couple of photos of the beautiful little butterfly box that you gave me. If you get a chance, you'll have to come and see! I just adore the butterfly...thank you, sweet friend! Everytime I see it I think of you!

Well dear friend, I do hope that my note is finding you and your sweet family all doing well! Sending my love and prayers...

Chari

I was thinking of reblogging for Shelia's party as well, but life just got in the way of even that!
(You can see how late I am running around.)

I do have notice of 2 larger parties coming up in September on my blog. One is what it would be like for you to live a gypsy life, the other, anything to do with Practical Magice, either the book, movie, the recipes, decorating, or any way you want to interpret it. Last year we had a lot of fun.

I have not been able to get linked up as often as I would like and am intending the best for upcoming holiday seasons.

I hope you are having a wonderful summer.

By the way, Laurie. I don't know if you'll see this second comment, but I was dinking around with my mantel this morning and thought of you.

Just wanted you to know that I miss your posts. I hope, if you do a new fall mantel, that you'll post it!

Laurie, you really have a wonderful and fun collection of roosters! I hope all is well with you and your family. I thought about you the other day when i was in a little shop. I saw this absolutely gorgeous set of dishes from Holland. I don't know why, but when I see beautiful Holland made pieces i think of you. Girl, I would have bought the set for you until I saw the price tag. GASP! But, I figured you probably would not have wanted me to go without electricity for the next 4 months. LOL I do hope your are enjoying time away from blogging. Take care! Love ya, Diann :)
