SNEAKING IN MY HEADERS AGAIN!

I’m afraid when you look at these first pictures, you’re going to click that little “x” and get out of here, because you’re going to know that I am posting my mantel AGAIN!  I’m not only posting my mantel again, but it really still looks almost identical to the way it’s looked on my header for a month!  I did replace the “Welcome Fall” plate with my new (to me) duck platter and my girl and boy holding baskets of grapes .  I’m finally through welcoming Fall, and I’ve moved on to Thanksgiving.

mantel final Since I posted a picture of the blog header you’ve been seeing for a month, I decided I would also post a photo of a table top that is ready for the Thanksgiving season.

Ooops! I posted that cloche at Marty’s last Cloche Party!!

If you want to see table tops you haven’t already seen, head over to sweet Marty’s at A Stroll Thru Life.

I apologize for sharing photos you’ve already seen.  Thank you for coming to see my headers AGAIN!  laurie

Laurie it is looking good! I am ready to take down the Halloween and put out the Thanksgiving. I was gone all day today but tomorrow let the changing begin. I love your mantel and it looks wonderful.

Laurie, you're ahead of me. I do have the Halloween packed up and put away, but still working on bringing out some Thanksgiving items. Don't have much. ;-)

Beautiful needlepoint. Did you stitch this? ~ Sarah

I love it when you repost pictures, cause sometimes I can't load them. I am using my daughter's computer which is up to date with high speed (unlike me) and I can load all the pics. lol.
You know I enjoy seeing your home and all your decor!!!

Hi Laurie!
Well you have to forgive me because it's been a bit of a while since I have dropped in on you! But having said that...I can say that all your photos and vignettes look new to me!! Your mantel looks so festive and new!! All my Halloween decor came down once I turned off the porch light! Te He! Today the Thanksgiving stuff came out! Yay!! Have a great week!

Short memory? Are you kidding? Half of the time, I can't remember what I went upstairs to get by the time I get up there.

I think everything is just beautiful. I need to beef up my mantel!! Tabletop Tuesday always makes me walk around the house with a critical eye.

One thing that I love here is the way you do your photos. I love the big picture and then the smaller close up. It lets me enjoy the detail.

Laurie, I always enjoy your photos-whether you say they are re-runs or not. And do you really think we can remember? And even if we do recall something, it's always fun to see it through a new light! :-)
I spent Monday cleaning up fall and Halloween decor- I am so done with it, since I put it out so early when the weather first changed here. I have decided to go easy on Christmas though. I have so much and may only put out half of the trees I usually do. I may get guilted into not doing that, however... Mr. S loves Christmas!!
hugs, Sue
