For his 13th birthday dinner, our grandson requested hamburgers. His dinner selection became the table theme. I started the place settings with a mixture of denim placemats and blue striped placemats, accompanied by bandana napkins and red-handled flatware.
I used red plastic restaurant-style baskets for french fries and fried okra. Two styles of red and white salad plates held the hamburgers.
The hamburger condiments became the centerpiece, thanks to this cute set my daughter gave me.
The grands always enjoy using our collection of cartoon character glasses.
My apologies for the images. The guest-of-honor arrived early, and I was only able to spend a few minutes snapping photos of the table.
I'm so happy you stopped by.
I'm partying with Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

How fun is this. I love your hamburger and condiment centerpiece.
How could a kid not love your table and what a lucky one to have had you make such effort for it to be special.
What a fun table! Your grandson is very lucky to have you as a grandmother. You did a wonderful job creating the perfect birthday party dinner table.
