It's time to get out and do some work in the yard. To inspire us, we had a gardening-themed dinner this week.
To start our meal, a flower-shaped bowl (Pier One, Audrey) held a fruit mixture.
When we finished the fruit, I removed the bowl and the cabbage plate (Bordello, San Raphael)
The dinner plates are Studio Nova, Country Lyric.
I bought two of these woven basket border chargers at an estate sale one time (Spode, English Floral).
Our floral dinner napkins were secured with a watering can napkin ring, and I used pastel flatware.
The plastic wine stems (got to have liquid encouragement to work in the garden) feature a flower on the stems.
I'm sure we will encounter some bees when we work in the yard, so I used our bee bordered water goblets.
My very vintage watering can, which I rescued from someone's trash one time, holds blooms I cut from our climbing rose bushes I shared with you in my last post (here).
There are flowers on the salt and pepper shakers too.
Do you think we were encouraged to go work in the yard the next day? Maybe we would have been if it hadn't rained all day. I hope we can keep up our momentum until the rain lets up.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit.
