I have just returned from a wonderful trip with my "girlfriends". (We were in elementary through high school together, so I still call us "girlfriends", even though I should probably call us "old lady friends"!) I've obviously missed a lot of wonderfulness in Blogville while I was gone. Did you see this faux brick wall, stenciled by Pocketful of Posies?
I am in love with the dining room makeover at Dear Emmeline. Those plate racks on each side of the window just stole my heart, and I love her farmhouse table and bentwood chairs.
Vintage, Paint and More decorated her entry for Summer. I wish I had the patience to make a book page wreath like that one. Isn't it pretty?
This recipe for Lemon Gooey Butter Cake made my mouth water (and it looks easy too).
One More Time Events can turn junk into the most incredible beauty. Just look at this succulent wreath.
These Chicken Avocado Ranch Wraps look like a quick and delicious summertime lunch. You'll find the recipe at Sincerely, Jamie.
For dessert, Healthy Bites, shared this scrumptious Strawberry Balsamic Almond Cake recipe. A lot of mouth-watering flavors served in a slice of cake.
It's always nice to come home after a fun trip. I've missed my friends at BDwL, and I'm glad to be home and back in Blogville.
Thank you for checking out my Friday Faves this week. Have a fab weekend.

Laurie, it's after midnight here, but I'm feeling hungry. That chicken avocado ranch wrap looks delicious.
Glad you and the girlfriends had a great time. I think it's wonderful that you all take a trip each year. My group tries to meet every spring. This spring was in Austin, so I got to host lunch here one of the days. It's always a special time.
These are all great pics, Love that brick wall too.
Hi Laurie, sounds like a fun time with your girlfriends. Love the brick wall design. Hope June is off to a great start.
Hugs, CM
Good for you Laurie, getting out with your childhood school chums reminiscing and making new memories too sounds like a wonderful time. I am liking the idea of the chicken and avocado wraps and the gooey lemon cake, yum!
