Today's table really uses a variety of types of dinnerware - from formal to very
I purchased this tablecloth at an estate sale years ago. Can you see that even the eyelet edge has hearts?
I used two chargers - the silver, square charger was a very inexpensive purchase at Tuesday Morning a few years ago, and the red metal charger was an on-line purchase last year.
The dinner plates are our wedding china, Moonspun by Lenox.
I used plastic, heart-shaped salad plates, purchased at Target long ago.
I used our zig zag wine stems, because of all of the silver on the table, and the water goblets (from an estate sale) ended up on the table, because I think they have a kind of romantic look.
I chose the flatware simply because of the pattern name. How could I not use Willliam Rogers, Eternally Yours, for a Valentine table?
Another estate sale provided me with the red napkins with stitched heart border. I topped those with handkerchiefs that I purchased from a "going out of business" sale. The "keys to my heart" napkin rings were found at another "going out of business" sale.
Bread and butter plates are Vera Lace by Wedgwood. The little butter domes were...did you guess it... purchased at an estate sale.
Faux potted rosebuds are placed on my vintage plateau, purchased from the Vintage Nest store. Can you get any cheaper than one of those tiny boxes of conversation hearts?
Don't forget my Valentine linkup next Friday. I hope to see you here.
It was great to have you visit. Thank you. laurie

I love your Valentine table, Laurie. So romantic! The heart shaped plates look awesome. I would have never guessed that they are plastic....Christine
Hi Laurie, I just love your table setting. Those heart plates are beautiful and who would know plastic. I love the white on white lacey plates. Sweet and pretty centerpiece too. Such an inviting table for four.
Thanks for sharing. Love it.

What a sweet table. I don't know if I've ever seen eyelet fabric with hearts before- very unique! Love the "keys" to your heart on the napkins! I haven't done a Valentine's table yet- I guess I better get crackin!
Love that sweet tablecloth and the napkins are great.
I love! LOVE the plateau. I have wanted one for about 20 years! Still don't have one. They are quite pricey here. Your table is darling.
Everything about this table is so beautiful. I especially love the linens, the tablecloth is wonderful and so are the napkin and hankie, great idea. Lovely choice of dinnerware as well.
Laurie, Beautiful! Beautiful linens (I am swooning over that tablecloth) the napkin/hankie combination is to die for. The plate stack is lovely. The heart plate finishes the setting to perfection.
Gee, I had been so pleased with myself to get my white eyelet tablecloth laundered and pressed. I think I better step things up a notch and make it snappy at that. Time is running out rapidly if I am to have things ready for the 6th.
Hi Laurie,
Your Valentines Table is really lovely.
Nice job.....
and Happy Early Valentines Day,
Blessings, Nellie
