Last week, I shared with you that a French village moved onto our mantel when I put away the summer décor. The French villagers are now welcoming Fall.
Leaves, acorns, gourds, pumpkins and pinecones have shown up all over the village.
The French villagers are looking forward to a little nip in the air.
I am gradually adding a touch of Fall to our home. The sideboard behind our sofa moved into Fall this weekend.
There’s a young girl, gathering grapes on one end of the buffet.
A grape-gathering young boy is eying her from the other end of the buffet.
Plaid ribbons and pumpkins adorn books, and...
Wreaths of Fall berries and leaves hang on the edges of books...
and on the lampshade too.
Even my Mother’s glass dog bookends are sporting burlap bows for the season.A side table in the family room also got a touch of Fall.
I ordered the adorable framed piece several years ago from Kristen’s Creations.
My vintage dust pan is hanging on a door with a display of faux Fall leaves.
Are you “falling” at your house yet? Thanks for coming to visit. laurie

Yes. I am definitely " falling " at my house! You should stop by and check it out. I love your fall decor. All the adorable accessories to your tables, books and lamps are fabulous!
I have been wanting to get into Fall but it's been so bloody hot here in 3 digits that makes it hard to do anything other than what you have to do. I have been thinking about it in my head - now for something cooler than 100.
I love all your decorations - they look terrific. You are definitely getting into the swing of of Fall
Love the mantle.
Have a great week. I meant to tell you that your post about the boat trip and little Dylan. He looks terrific! I am so happy that he is doing well. He sure was having the time of his life. Give him a big hug from me.
Love
Mary
Laurie, I just adore your two bookends of the boy and girl gathering grapes! And tying the books together with ribbon is such a nice touch! You really are welcoming fall at your house and everything looks gorgeous!
Just shared on my blog's FB page!
Fall like the rest of the seasons this year will be on it's own. I hope to get my act together for winter LOL! This was one of those years...
Love looking at your fall decor to get my fix...
Not falling here yet but definitely falling for your changes, down to the burlap bows on the glass dogs! I'll pin these and maybe get in the mood when a cold front (meaning mid-80s instead of 90s) comes through next weekend.
Your house is about the coziest spot I know, hard to be down with all your pretty things to look at.
So many pretty Fall accessories, Laurie. All I have done is changed pillows and throws in the family room....Christine
Laurie, I haven't started "falling" just yet, but did see the mounds of pumpkins and gourds had arrived at the market. Guess fall really is here in TX. '-)
Great idea to add the touch of fall ribbon to a stack of books.
Love your fall decorations-especially the french villagers!
I'm falling here! I love this season more than the other three put together and always enjoy bringing autumn in the house. I love all of your very "Laurie" touches.
(Loved those faves in the previous post too. I am trying to enjoy some catch up time this week in my blog reading.)
I am not "falling" here, way behind on that front. I love the glass dog bookends, adorable! I laughed, that boy is really eyeing that girl gathering grapes, isn't he!? Love all of your little touches! xo
So beautiful! I love all of this, every detail...gorgeous.
