It’s the time of the year when bright white clouds float in a bright blue sky.
It’s when one of my favorite flowers, the Hydrangea, bursts into bloom.
It’s the time of the year when I can cut Hydrangeas to enjoy inside the house.
And it’s the time of the year when I hang a basket, filled with faux Daisies, on our front door.
It’s a beautiful time of the year, and I love it.

You've got your head in the clouds, Laurie! And they're beautiful! It is really a luxury to have cut hydrangeas in the house considering what they cost at Whole Foods. So pretty! We don't have much luck with the one bush we have. Do you dry yours too?
Looks like the sky here today also! :) Love hydrangeas - so pretty!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Those are lovely flowers. Enjoy the season. : )
Have the fluffy white clouds, and I do appreciate them!
But........wishing I had a bush of white hydrangeas that I could harvest for cut flowers in our home. I have to pay $8 a stem for that indulgence. Don't do it often, but on occasion you'll find white hydrangeas in our home. Actually I found a potted plant with 4 blooms that I brought home last week. It should be happy inside for a few weeks. '-)
Beautiful post, Laurie! ~ Sarah
It has been just beautiful here too and not too hot. Yet.
Your hydrangeas are amazing!
I love the correlation between shape of the clouds and the hydrangea heads! One of my favorite flowers, for sure. And they look so pretty with your things!
Hi Laurie, yes this time of year is beautiful. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous. Love the white. Mine are doing well too and a mix of pinks, purple and white mop heads. They are so pretty brought inside.
Congrats to your giveaway winner.
Hugs!
You are right about it being a beautiful time of year and I delight in enjoying it twice, once in Houston and now in Maine.
Laurie,
Your white hydrangeas are gorgeous. I keep intending to buy a white one. We have one that blooms a deep purple and I plan on rooting some stems this year. I need to photograph it as soon as the rain stops. I'd much rather see those white fluffy clouds than the grey ones I'm seeing right now!
What is there about hydrangeas that just make me happy? I don't care what color they are. I just love them so much. The basket on your door is so up my alley too.
I love hydrangeas and I will miss mine when I move. Guess I'll have to see if I can plant some more!
Hi Laurie, me again! I was getting ready to reply to your comment on my blog and noticed that you were a no-reply address. Does this mean you haven't gotten any of my replies to your comments by email? My sister and I figured out this weekend that she had not been receiving them so she changed her settings so she could get them.
I promise you that I have answered every comment of yours in the past!
