THE “CLUTTERIST” IS THRIVING!

Y’all know that I am normally a “clutterist” (as opposed to minimalist).  When we are celebrating a holiday, the clutterist in me gets a little carried away, because I just add holiday stuff to my already junky cluttered shelves!

I hope my vintage postcards (which are hanging from a ribbon in front of my family room shelves) and my tacky vintage Easter décor (which is on a shelf in my sunroom) will qualify this post for
thrifty things fri(most of the vintage décor on the shelf in the sunroom is from my childhood, and the postcards were less than a dollar, so I consider those thrifty things),
and since, unfortunately, things from my childhood are vintage now, I hope this post qualifies for:

  3. I always enjoy seeing your clutter! :-D The bunnies and egg topiary is so cute. I have done very little decorating for Spring/Easter this year - to much other going on. I have not decided on an Easter menu yet - I need to get busy.
More bad weather tomorrow night into Wed. morning. :(
    Have a great week.

  4. Well, if you are a clutterist, I'm right there with you! ;) The only difference between you and I is that YOU have energy and put out all of your cute treasures for every holiday. I am a LAZY clutterist and have no energy to do that, so all my clutter is around to the left and around the right and in front and back! ;)
All of your Easter things do look lovely, Laurie!
    Best,
    Gloria

  8. Hmmm, I have always called the things lying around my house "clutter". However, looking at your whimsical, charming, colorful, and seasonal "clutter", I realize I have been using the wrong word. You have clutter, I just have a MESS! :)

  9. Sweet lady, I would say that with all the treasures you have you would qualify for any party you may wish to join. I don't call it clutter. Sweetheart THOSE are treasures.
I know what you mean about vintage. It is a funny feeling when almost anything you have is vintage. I think vintage kinda sneaked up on me.
Thanks for visiting Savannah's Botanical Garden. i will take lots of pics during the show and share. Thanks again.
Did you get the email is sent to you about Mom of a German Short Hair?

  11. I love the term 'clutterist' being that I'm qualified for that title. Maybe we can start the Sista Clutterist club! I think your 'clutter' is perfect just the way it is. Really like the bunny garland and old postcards. Have a happy Easter!

  13. You call it clutter, but it's really eye candy inspiration to me. My favorite thing of all is the bunny banner. I LOVE that!

It makes me want to run out to HL and get paper to copy it. Maybe I'll get a chance between now and the weekend before it's too late.

  14. Holy Schmoly! I decided last week that it was getting too late to fuss with my Easter decor so I pass this year, then I see what you have done and I feel lazy...but as we will be leaving in another few weeks and I am still catching up and tending to elderly MIL in town, I still pass, else bunnies would be out with Easter Angels until late June or maybe 4th of July! I enjoy all of your "clutter" and absolutely relate...
