THE TREES ARE DECORATED…

And today, I’m sharing two of them.

For better or for worse, I’ve been tweaking the vignette on my new sideboard..

and on the mantel, both of which I just showed you last week! Sadly, I’ll be tweaking all over the house until Christmas Eve!

It’s so hard for me to leave “well enough” alone. I always THINK it can be better. I usually decide that the tweaking didn’t make any difference and could have even made matters worse! It’s just another disease of mine (in addition to “collecting”, I tweak – all of the time, everywhere)!  Hi, my name is Laurie, and I am a collector and a tweaker!  Call in the psychiatrist(s)!
I’m linking this post to the Boring to Better event at Savvy Southern Style.  Thanks Kim for telling us we could link Christmas dĂ©cor without showing any “before” pictures.

  31. Laurie,
Popped over to say hi and WOW, I love your beautiful decorations! The two tree idea is unique and looks great. The new sideboard works perfectly too.
Heather is home lounging on the sofa and I'm about to gather a few boxes from the basement and work on our tree.
It's been quiet the year, but it's all good! Take care.

I can't believe how MUCH Christmas decorating you have already done! and it ALL looks so great!

I used to be able to accomplish SO much more when I was younger than I can now! How do you do it?!!! Wait a minute, I know... you must have some little elves stashed somewhere that help you, right?!!

  36. Oh so beautiful. each tree is equally abundant! Maybe that's what I should do - if I had the space! I have many little trees throughout my house, but only one big one. Just glorious.
