I was FINALLY able to get to Hobby Lobby when they had one of their 40% off frame sales. So some of my newest favorite things are my newly framed pictures. I did not have any frames or mats made for these. They are all “off the shelf” frames and mats.
Months ago (a LOT of months ago), I won this pretty pansy painting (try saying that fast a few times) in a give away by Bridget at My Silly Blog.
I finally framed it!
I’ve had so much fun shopping in Karen Harvey Cox’s Etsy, For the Love of Old Books. I also found frames for these Raggedy Ann prints.
Don’t you love the pretty borders she put around them? I didn’t even have to buy mats for them, because with such pretty borders, I didn’t think they needed mats.
I was one of the very fortunate of many visitors to Karen Harvey Cox’s blog, A Scrapbook of Inspiration, when she gave each of us a floral painting of our choice! I found an easel frame that displays my hydrangea painting beautifully.
Months ago, Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen hosted an All White Tablescape party, and I did a picnic post for the party. I was so honored that Fifi at Fifi Flowers painted a photo of part of my picnic posting.
I found a frame for this painting too.
And I found a frame for another painting by Fifi.
I am so fortunate to have “met” so many talented people in Blogville. Since I have no artistic talent at all, I LOVE being able to benefit from their creativity and talent by ordering their fabulous work. I also love all of the creativity I find on blogs, so I am sharing some of my favorite things recently found in Blogville (Yep! I’ve been stealing pictures again! Please let me know if you would like for me to remove your photo from my blog).
Table made from a bird cage by Nancy’s Daily Dish.
Quimper tea set from Hyacinths for The Soul.
Patriotic centerpiece crafted by Sweet Something Designs.
I have not only met talented people in Blogville, I have also met some of the kindest people anywhere, and I appreciate your visits so much. I hope all of you sweet people will click on the links below, and go visit others who are posting their favorite things. laurie
