Only on Laurie’s blog! No, we didn’t have Dom Perignon. That’s part of the candlelight. Years ago, my Mother-in-law made a candle out of a Dom Perignon bottle that my brother-in-law had left at her house. When my brother-in-law saw the candle, he wanted to know what happened to the contents of the bottle, and she said, since he had left it at her house, she assumed it wasn’t worth drinking, so she poured it down the drain, so she could make a candle from the bottle!!
Of course, this little table is joining Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

ReplyDeleteYour roses are just beautiful. Are they Cecile Brunner? That's what is blooming here anyway. I love your little table for two set up under the bower of roses. So romantic! Reminds me of the song, "The days of wine and roses...."
