Salad bowls: unmarked (faux Quimper purchased on sale at a gift store that was going out of business); Dinner Plates: “Genevieve” by Coventry (purchased at an estate sale); Blue and yellow metal chargers: unmarked-Estate sale; Dark blue glass chargers: purchased at sidewalk sale of a kitchen outlet store years ago (I think they were 99 cents each); Flatware: purchased on sale at Kohl’s a few years ago; Fan shaped vase (used to hold extra flatware: vintage Quimper (purchased from on line source); stemware: sale at Pier One; Coasters: Tiles from Lowe’s; Large Eiffel Tower: Purchased at Tuesday Morning several years ago (it normally lives in my back yard); Black and white picture of Eiffel Tower: purchased in Paris in 1967; Small Eiffel Towers (used as napkin rings): purchased at a flea market; metal hearts (probably ash trays, but I’ve used them as salt cellars): purchased at flea market; Pitcher: The Haldon Group, Provencial Fruit (purchased at a gift store at low cost due to a small chip on the rim); candlestick: RCCL Portugal ‘65 (I don’t know how Portugal made it to the cafe in Provence!): my mother’s; tablecloth, napkins: too long ago to remember.

ReplyDeleteHello Laurie~ My biggest regret is not getting an Eiffel Tower when I set my eyes on it at Tuesday Morning, due in part, my hubs took me and I could just imagine his eyes rolling into his head when he's saying "and where are you gonna put it?" "Hmmm,I'm sure I could find room somewhere, I always reply" lol.

Laurie, you should be a set designer! This table is beautiful, I love the eiffel towers, and those dishes are lovely. I love coming here, this is one of my inspiration spots.
