I'm linking to Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.
Recently, when the Arkansas Razorbacks played in the Liberty Bowl, we had a faux tailgate supper. It was soooo cold that night that we were glad to be watching the game at home on television while eating a chili dog.
Who would have ever thought that an entire state would be proud of calling the hogs? Yes, we do call them, and yes, we are proud of it! PIG SOOOOOOIEEEEE, RAZORBACKS!
Who would have ever thought that an entire state would be proud of calling the hogs? Yes, we do call them, and yes, we are proud of it! PIG SOOOOOOIEEEEE, RAZORBACKS!
Now I would like to share a more formal tablescape.
I know, I know - my subliminal message isn't very subliminal. Click over to Between Naps on the Porch, where you'll find links to wonderful tablescapes. Thank you for coming to our faux tailgate supper. laurie

This looks like such a fun and cute tablescape. I am not much into football, but I am sure your family enjoys this so much!!
Lordy girl, you have everything..We of course will be rooting for the Jets..well, I guess I should, but I don't care about football.
I do have a football cake mold...:)
Love your indoor tailgate..and your formal invitation is subliminal, I mean sublime!
Hi Laurie!
What a fun tablescape! Makes me want to grab a warm cozy throw, mittens and a hat and head to a game!
Have a wonderful day!
Rah Rah Rah!! This looks like a whole lot more fun than a real tailgate party. No bugs, no rain, no snow, no crowds, no parking eight miles away, bathroon close by!! That works for me!1 (lol)
Mel
Fun tailgate tablescape!! I love your aluminum tray! I collect those so that caught my eye right away. And your pig glasses are soooo cute! Love those!

Love, love, love the football field theme for the table. How perfect is that?
That is just so fun Laurie! Your family is so darn lucky to have such a fun and creative Mom and Grandma ! Hey, Piggies are cool! I need to visit you so bad this summer, your home is worth the drive, it's so amazing! Hugs, Cindy
P.S. that naughty guy above me should be deleated, he leaves stuff on mine too and another lady translated it and she said it's porn. I hate spam.
If I didn't already read your blog regularly, I would certainly have been drawn in by the title of this post. Looks like a fun party, and I know you were glad you were cozy at home. I still hear people talking about how cold it was.
I'm intrigued by those Razorback glasses. They look vintage. Are they?
I think you just might be a Razorback fan... ;-)
Love all your tailgate gear!! I bleed orange and white but I am still impressed with your party stuff. Very fun.
Cute tailgating party, Laurie. When I saw the title of your post it caused a serious flashback to 1960, when I was a senior in high school. I was a member of a play cast, during the fall of that year. At rehearsal our teacher/director was not hearing the "actors", from her seat at the back of the auditorium. She had us line up across the stage and one by one call pigs!! You can bet we projected our voices very well after that!
What a fun idea and you have the neatest dishes and accessories to pull it off. I just love this Laurie, so creative. I love chili dogs and football too. Hugs, Marty
Who doesn't love a football party. Tail gating inside is my kind of tail gating! My family would go crazy for a party like this...and I think that I will surprise them on Sunday! Living in New Jersey, we have a bit of a stake in this next game.
Susan
Laurie, you are so creative! I would never think to have all that at a football party. The closest I got was for Super Bowl Sunday one year....football shaped paper plates!!! I never get tired of your table settings.
My guys would love this table! Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Laurie! You are the cutest thing! What a blessed family to have you! Simply wonderful! Love, Cindy
How cute! Now I want a chili dog for lunch. :)
This is so cute! And you got to watch the game from the "best seats in the house" I'm sure! Every now and then nothing will do but a good old sloppy chili dog! My mother would shudder! Sorry Mom! It just gets to the basics at time -- but your basics look like fun on a bun!
Well this looks like total fun!
Enjoy, go team!!
Linda
Hello sweet friend...
Laurie, you have certainly outdone yourself!!! What a fun and festive game table...I bet your guys just loved it!!! Mmm...and I don't eat hotdogs very often but after seeing yours...they sound sooo good! Hehe! This table was just sooo much fun...thank you for sharing it with us today!!! By the way, I'm not really a fan of football but I hope your Razorbacks won!!!
Love ya,
Chari
A faux tailgate party sounds perfect to me especially in cold weather! You have all the perfect dishes/accessories to cheer on your team! Great idea!
DD
I love your tailgate party table, what fun!
But Laurie...where are You?
Where are you in your cute cheer leading outfit? :) (hugs)
I have fallen in love with the ketchup/mustard and mayo station!LOL

Sis boom bah!!!!!
Hi Laurie,
Your package is in the mail. When I got home the card I was including in your package to say thank you was sitting on my kitchen table. Another senior moment. I love this tablescape, because I love hot dogs and watching sports. I am going to put this Valentine's party badge on my sidebar.
Have a great night. I think your package should arrive no later than Monday.
Karen
Oh Laurie, you have way to much fun! Love this theme!!!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Maryjane
nothing like having your own tailgate party in the comforts of home, great game setup!
Helen
How 'bout them hawgs!! Are other states as absorbed with football as we Arkies are? Of course, it combines with college alumni spirit! Loved your table! And, for me, the inside tailgate party is the best kind. And the football game on the telly is also the best kind (I can wander around and do other things...) I know, I am such a spoilsport! C
Hello everyone!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a nicey, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of financial piramyde, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.
For several years , I make money with the help of these programs.
I don't have problems with money now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I get now up to 2G a day , and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Visit my blog to get additional info.

Oh what a fun tailgate party, Laurie. You sure have a lot of nice props....Christine
Hi there cutie! We are having the party to end parties this afternoon while we watch the Vikings and Saints. Hopefully there is one more tailgate party in our future!!!
Awesome table!!! I just love it!!
Just questioning if eBay permits you to market concert tickets on-line? Do you know if you'll find any restrictions based on what country you are in?
My parents have just called me and asked if i could "get rid" of their two tickets to a concert as they wont have the ability to make it because of yet another family event.
Apart from asking pals etc, i thought ebay would be a good place to sell them.
But whats ebay's policy on marketing tickets? Ive heard alot about it within the news but ive forgotten what happened.
and if it matters, the concert is inside this coming month
Thanks ahead of time for your advice.
