HOPE YOUR WEEKEND WAS AS GOOD AS MINE

You wanna hear about my weekend? There's not much to tell, but for me it was a good one. I'm joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday, and since I'm posting an itty bitty metamorphosis, I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday. I'm also joining Diane at A Picture is Worth 1000 Words for Second Time Around Tuesday. Whew! Do you think I might be a "joiner"? Okay, now I'm going to tell you about my weekend. Remember, I am easily entertained, so I'll understand if my weekend bores you to the point of clicking the exit button.

It isn't much, but I hope this $15.00 desk counts for an itty bitty metamorphosis and a 2nd time around:

Be sure to go get links to Blogville Events:

Monday:

Mosaic Monday, Little Red House;

Metamorphosis Monday, Between Naps on the Porch;

and Tuesday:

2nd Time Around Tuesday, A Picture is Worth 1000 Words.

Thanks so much for coming to visit, and thanks so much for sticking it out through my dull weekend. laurie

  9. Hi Laurie,
    What beautiful fall colors, our leaves have all dropped and hubby spent the week-end raking. Your mosaics are just stunning and that table is really cute! I love how you put it to good use, I need one just like it to hide all my clutter. Hugs, Cindy

  10. Sounds like my kind of weekend, Laurie. Went to north Alabama on a girls trip on Friday to see the leaves, but I think we were about a week too late. They turned early this year. We did, however, have a wonderful time.

  13. Laurie, Your mosaics are just fantastic! What a fun way to chronicle all that you did over the weekend. Love the desk- did you do anything to it finish-wise? I DO like it covered like that! Am working on a refinishing project, myself. Hope to have it done by next week. Mr. S saw it in the garage when he came home and just shook his head. I think he was just jealous because he didn't get to go to the sale w/me! LOL

  22. Laurie--Sounds like a good weekend to me. I can't wait to have grandchildren to watch play sports! Loved seeing the cotton--the farmers have had a tough fall, haven't they? LOVE the cloth on the desk. We went to Summer Ave on Saturday on the way home from a second trip to Sherwin Williams--the crazies are out in full force on the weekend :) Have a good week :)

Thanks for the comment and glad you liked the trailer. It really is the kind of movie that makes you smile and cheer. Think Mr. Hollands opus meet Ellington lol. Kathy

  34. Hi Laurie, thanks for your order! I must say that the sleigh is one of my favorites...I'll get it shipped out tomorrow. I sure did miss where you posted the fall frame. I'm glad you are enjoying it! I have not been able to blog alot lately, I've been making frames and arrangements and have just started decorating houses, it's getting busy! I have two christmas shows coming up soon too.

    I love the little desk you redid, it turned out beautiful! Thanks again, Kristen

  37. Laurie, Your Grands are so cute, and I am very tired of the leaves. They are beautiful on the trees, but when they fall, such a mess. Hubby and I both have allergies, from trying to clean them up, but today we got smart, and wore masks. Your desk is great, and I love the cloth you put over it. It has a lot of fuctionality. I have never seen cotton grow, looks like snow. You are so good at mosaics and poetry! Love Ya! Connie

  38. Sweet Laurie...

    Love your post....and your make-over was fabulous....Someday, when the den is finished, I'll show my desk area...but for now......YIKES....No WAY! I need to hide stuff. :-)

    Just guessing, the time spent with the grands was the BEST!....

    Thanks for your good wishes...I just have to use one of the bloggers lines....I was happy to have it "behind" me...what an undignified procedure. :-)

    Big hugs sweetie,
    Spencer
