COCKA-DOODLE-DO TODAY AND TOMORROW TOO!

I've got so many roosters (I know, why are you not surprised), I decided to get a head start on the Rooster Party at Bella Vista, which starts tomorrow. I am re-posting a table I originally posted in January. I'm sure you know by now that you will find great tablescapes on Thursdays by going to Between Naps On the Porch. Thank you Susan for continuing to host this huge Blogville event.

Don't forget to go to Between Naps on the Porch to find links to fabulous tablescapes.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Please come back to visit tomorrow, when I'll let the rest of my roosters come out and play for the Rooster Par-tay! laurie

  2. Laurie,
    What a beautiful table-scape! I love it!
I, too, am excited about the big rooster event! Will be getting my post ready tonight - I can't wait!
Oh, by the way, you can remove me from your wonderful prayer list!
My son has finished basic training and has returned home safely! Can't believe that I survived it all! THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your prayers and support! I will continue to pray for those that remain on your list. If I ever have another prayer need - believe me I will be back asking for help! I've learned asking is not a ever a bad thing!
    Hugs,
    Cindy

  4. Okay, I bought those dishes because I loved them--at a Kroger promotional!! I can remember taking my high-school aged son by to help me decide on whether to buy them (I mean, at the grocery store!!). He could care less but offered his considered opinion, saying, "well, Mom, all I have to say is: You must promise yourself that you will USE them and not just put them up in the china cabinet for looks only. I think fine china should be used."

It was all I could do to keep from bursting out laughing and I snapped up every piece!! And we used them every day--"fine china" or no!

I STILL love them. I handed them down to my mother-in-law eventually when my ADD turned my attention to other fine china at Target!

I came to your blog through My Garden Hat because I saw you listed as from Little Rock! My co-blogger and I are in LIttle Rock, too! Visit us when you can (and, yes, I feel your pain with having to work full time!).

Loved your posts and will be back! C

  18. I like the contrast of the tablecloth and the settings. I think you definetly have a rooster problem. You need a few foxes ;-)
