DEAR LAURIE,
BEAUTIFUL ROOSTERS....
AMY RECEIVED HER CARD FROM YOU TODAY AND SHE LOVES THAT SONG...SHE HAS KEPT IT IN BED WITH HER TODAY....AND WHEN I GIVE HER PAIN MEDS OR JEVITY WE PLAY IT....I ALSO RECEIVED THE BEAUTIFUL GIFT THAT OVERWHELMED ME. TODAY HAS BEEN A VERY HARD DAY. I HAVE TALKED WITH THE DRS. OFFICE TWICE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT HER PAIN.
DONETTA, ANOTHER BLOGGER, WHOSE CHILD WENT HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD GAVE ME SOME AWESOME ADVICE AND ONE WAS STANDING TRUE TO MY CONVICTIONS AND DOING WHAT IS BEST FOR AMY, NOT THE FAMILY. IT IS SO VERY SAD WHEN YOUR CHILD IS TERMINAL AND YOU HAVE THOSE WHO CAUSE TURMOIL AROUND YOU....AS IF WE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH...SHE REQUIRES 24 HOUR CARE AND WE DON'T SLEEP MUCH.
THE BLOGGING WORLD HAS BECOME MORE OF A FAMILY TO ME THAN SOME OF MY OWN RELATIVES......BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS TIME AND TIME AGAIN AND I PRAY ONE DAY THEY DON'T HAVE A CHILD THAT IS TERMINAL....IT IS A VISCIOUS PAIN.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CARD TO AMY AND THE GENEROUS GIFT WHICH WILL ALSO GO TO AMY....BUT EVEN SO FOR BEING MY FRIEND BEFORE YOU KNEW MY DAUGHTER WAS ILL...YOU ARE SUCH A DELIGHT...AND SO FUNNY....AND YOU ARE VIGIL TO PRAY FOR EVERYONE IN NEED...I LOVE THAT THE MOST AND SO DOES THE LORD.
THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO VENT.
ANGEL HUGS
LOVE
debbie

Hi again, Laurie! I changed the wordings on my description about the guy buried in a rocking chair. LOL! I reread it and it did sound kinda funny. When we were touring and the guide mentioned his story, AJ commented so loud, "Lucky guy!" and we all laughed. Cemeteries do not bother me as long as it is daytime and I am NOT alone. You really are the "Queen of Fabulous Collections"...Christine

The Rooster Party was sure a bit hit. I don't have a blog but follow lots of your creative people and there are so many of you who entertain us computer challenged people. Check out Barronscatalog.com and you'll see some more unique rooster figurines. Never seen a blue rooster in real life but this catalog sure has a mighty pretty one for sale, not to mention some silverware with roosters eched in the handle. I envy all of you that have such wonderful computer skills. Thanks for all the memories and entertainment.
