NOT-SO-WORDLESS WEDNESDAY-BOOKS



I hope I don't get banned from Wordless Wednesday by changing it a little for my blog. Now ya'll know that there is no way I could do a wordless post! Today's topic is books, and I am showing two of my mother's childhood books. When I started posting some illustrations from these books, some of them reminded me of some blogs I visit.

    Good Mornin' Laurie! Girlfriend, do you ever sleep?! I can just see you at 1:30 in the morning arranging these books and taking pictures while the DH is snorin' away! But I'm glad you did cause I certainly enjoyed them this morning! I'm up early because my DH is heading out of town on business early this morning.     Loved those vintage books..and how you cleverly and creatively linked them...there is something so mesmerizing about those old graphics..I just want to frame every page..don't you? However, where would we hang them, Laurie Eve? Ha-Ha. Good post.

    I sometimes think I would like just a peek inside your brain, for just a second, to see how genius looks while it is working. Then again, best to just enjoy the fruits of the labor.

    You nailed everyone that I knew perfectly. It must have taken quite a long time to assemble this post, so thank you for your time. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed it.
