MORE ST PATRICK’S DECOR

St Patrick Decor 1

The Irish have now invaded the piano in the study.  They may not be Irish, but my eyes are smiling when I hear this song.

ST PATRICK’S POT O’ GOLD

St Patrick's Decor

In celebration of St. Patrick's season, a tall, skinny Leprechaun has come to live on the buffet in our sunroom.  He’s winking, because he thinks he has spotted the pot of gold.

Do you see what I see?  I think a leprechaun found the gold, and in his haste to hide it, he spilled some on my table.  I’m going to see if I can find that little guy.  Maybe he left a trail of gold!

Do you think it’s that tall guy in the middle, or one of those tiny little fellows?PIANO TOP

That little leprechaun didn’t lead me to any more gold.  I’ll just have to remember that my family and friends are my gold.  But, dag nabbit, it would have been nice to find a whole pot of gold!

I’m also linking with Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday and The Home Girl for Festive Friday Fiesta.  Be sure to crawl on over to Cuisine Kathleen’s for all of the blog crawl posts.  Thanks so much for crawling by my place.  laurie

WEARIN’ O THE GREEN MANTEL

I’m moving on from Valentine décor to St. Patrick décor.  I have a real problem decorating our mantel when there isn’t a holiday to celebrate.  Our mantel has now gone from a Winter/Valentine’s Mantel to a St. Patrick’s Mantel, so I’m linking this post to Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch.  I’m also linking to Seasonal Sundays at The Tablescaper and Table Top Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life.

These plates (Ascot by Wood and Sons, England) remind me of an Irish village, so I thought they were appropriate to march across the mantel for St. Patty’s Day.

The lad and lass lived happily ever after (the leprechaun also lived happily ever after, never again letting himself be trapped under a cloche).

And I’m blessed to be living happily ever after with my “pot o’ gold”.
