The air is crisp. The leaves are falling.  There are yellows, golds, and browns all around us.  I can smell Fall in the air.  Let’s take a stroll down the street.
tbl w chr Hear the leaves, rustling under your feet?  Did you notice the Fall signs around town?  The plaque picturing children carving a pumpkin was a gift to the town from my friend, Susie.  The pumpkin sign was a gift to the town from my friend, Karen Harvey Cox of A Scrapbook of Inspiration.
plaque There are two beautiful churches on this street.
CHURCHES Wagons filled with pumpkins are delivering to the markets.
pmpkn crts  Look!  The Grocer is advertising pumpkin pies!  Let’s go get one!
GROCER And let’s stop at the Cider Mill and get some of that delicious cider to take home with us.
Whew! We’ve arrived at my house!
HOME Take one last look down the street, and then we can go sit on the back porch and have a slice of pumpkin pie and a cup of warm cider.

[I’ve purchased everything on the tea table at estate or garage sales, except the “vintage” tablecloth, which I purchased new in 1970, as a souvenir of a trip to Pennsylvania Dutch country!!  (Yikes!  It’s hard to admit that I could have purchased something new, and now it could almost be vintage!)  The plates (purchased at an estate sale) simply say “hand painted” on the bottom.]
I’m linking this post to Tabletop Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life.  (Marty, It’s not really a vignette, but it is on a tabletop, so I hope this street will qualify for Tabletop Tuesday.)
I’m also linking to Tea Time Tuesday at Lady Katherine Tea Parlor.  (Katherine, I didn’t serve tea, but I did use a tea pot, and my flowers are in the sugar and creamer!  I hope this works for Tea Time Tuesday.)
I enjoyed taking a stroll and having pie and cider with you.  Please come back again soon. laurie
