I’m trying to get into the Fall and Halloween mood. In case you’re also attempting to find Fall, I’m reviewing some of my past Fall and Halloween tablescapes today. You can click on the photo if you’d like to see the full post of any of these tables.
In 2012, we had an outdoor dinner in the Fall.
This “harvest dinner” was in 2011. (This may look like a Thanksgiving dinner, but we usually have what I refer to as a “Harvest Dinner” early in October. It may be my way of welcoming a little nip in the air.
Another harvest dinner in 2012.
I’ve been doing a harvest dinner for a lot of years – this one in 2010.
I did my first post on this blog on October 11, 2008, and on October 20, 2008, I posted my first tablescape. (I just this minute realized that today, I’m one month away from blogging for five years! And I thought I wouldn’t last long!) Susan at Between Naps on the Porch talked me into linking that first table to Tablescape Thursday. (Back then, there were not hundreds of links for TT, and Susan may have been kind of desperate to get links for her party!) I didn’t even know how to link to another blog, but Susan was so kind to help me, and that was the beginning of a lot of Halloween tablescapes being posted at Bargain Hunting and linked to TT.
I went back to get a picture from that 2008 table, and I was embarrassed to see what a tiny picture I had posted and how bad the tablescape looked. (Just when you thought I would post anything on my blog without feeling any shame, I decided to not re-post a picture of that table.)

A little bit spooky buffet
Was it just last week that I posted a tablescape on the boat? Okay, I may be getting into the Fall spirit, even though we are still having Summer temperatures in Arkansas. What about you? Are the leaves turning where you live? Are you celebrating Fall yet? laurie
I’m linking this post to Let’s Dish Wednesday at Cuisine Kathleen, Centerpiece Wednesday at The Style Sisters, Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch, and Seasonal Sundays at The Tablescaper.
