Each Christmas season, I use our Fontanini nativity set on the family room mantel.
If you have visited my blog during past Christmas seasons, you may think the mantel is identical to our previous Christmas mantels.

Last week, there were pilgrims on our mantel. Now, my Fontanini nativity set is on the mantel. I always say that I seldom change where my Christmas décor is placed. This nativity set is always the centerpiece of our Christmas mantel in our family room.

I could show you pictures of my mantel for the last four years, and you’d probably think it was exactly the same every year. I do usually make a little change or two, but I always use my Fontanini nativity on the mantel, so it is basically the same.
I’ve told the story before about finding this nativity set at an estate sale. If you would like to read it, please click here.
Christmas has begun at my house. If you’ve visited my blog during Christmas before, you know there is more Christmas to come. I’m linking this post to Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper. I really appreciate your visit. laurie

If you experience a little déjà vu as I post my Christmas décor, it’s because I don’t change it much from year-to-year. So, if you were visiting my blog last year, I apologize. There won’t be much difference in the photos you see this year! I have begun with the mantel. (I say “begun”, because although I put everything in the same place every year, I tweak all of it until Christmas Eve!) I won’t bore you again with the details of finding my Fontanini set in an unopened box at an estate sale, or how I found the Italian-made angels at a different estate sale. (I’m just going to bore you with the pictures of this year’s mantel looking very much like the pictures you saw last year.)
Thanks so much for coming to see almost the same mantel this year that you saw last year! Laurie
