The china cabinet in the kitchen is filled with reproduction vintage Halloween cards.
A sign in my stove alcove announces that the witch is in. You’d better not criticize my cooking!
During the Halloween season, I love to display this page from my Mother’s scrapbook (circa 1930).
I also like to display my Halloween paper doll collection.
I guess this witch turned her horse into a pig!
A spooky village has moved into my picnic basket.
October has unexpectedly turned into a very busy month for me, and it looks like it’s going to get even more crazy. I’ll be posting to my blog when I can.
Thanks for coming to visit.
I’m partying with Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch, Inspire Me Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life, Tweak it Tuesday at Cozy Little House, and You’re Gonna Love It Tuesday at Kathe with an E.
Hi Laurie, Your kitchen hutch is wonderfully decorated and could be the perfect pic for a card. Love seeing your mother's scrapbook page and your paper doll collection is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling witch being pulled by the pig and I love the little village in the basket.
Hope you have a great week although busy. Have fun along the way and thanks for sharing the festive inspiration.
XO
Enjoyed seeing your Halloween decor. Playing with paper dolls was big when I was a child - now days most young children don't know what they are.
ReplyDeleteOctober a bit busy here also - nothing exciting.
Enjoy your evening.
I have followed your blog for a while but cannot remember if I have ever commented. I love the hutch. I do not usually decorate for Halloween much but I would love to collect similar cards. Also, I always loved paper dolls growing up and wish I would have kept them. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt is all fabulous Laurie!! You always have the most unique vintage things, and I just love them busting out all over your hutch! The witch with the pig is hilarious!
