The following pictures are taken from the Sotheby Realty site, where this property is listed for $1,997,000.00.

If I won the lottery, this property would ALMOST be enough to make me move to New Jersey.  Notice, I said “almost”.  No offense to those who live in New Jersey, but I’ve lived there before, and it would take a lot of enticement for me to return.  (I have to admit that where we lived and our circumstances probably had a lot to do with these feelings.)

It’s not just this charming stone house that made me fall in love with this property.  It is everything that goes with it.

This property is situated on two acres, and includes a renovated barn (wait until you see that!), several stone outbuildings, and a brook!

Although I didn’t find pictures of them, the house has six bedrooms and two baths.

The following pictures are from the Circa website:

Look at that gigantic walk-in fireplace!

I wonder if they are taking their well-stocked wood pile with them when the house sells.  Let’s meander over to the “barn” now.

Yep! This is the barn.  There are two bedrooms  in the barn.

When we wanted a change of pace, we could just move out to the barn for awhile.

After we dine, we can go down to relax with wine beside “Stony Brook”.

Yes, this could be enough to entice me back to New Jersey, but I’d have to win the lottery first (and in order to win, I’d have to play the lottery, and since I don’t play, don’t look for me in New Jersey).

I’m so glad you joined me today.  I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.  laurie

Wow! I love the barn!!! The house was a bit on the busy side for me (except the bathroom - adore that bathroom), but the barn is perfection.

Happy Friday Laurie!

Hi Laurie, well I don't play the lottery either so no chance for me to buy this stunning home. Love the character and all the little details in the nooks and crannies tucked here and there. With the barn, it's like getting two homes.
Have a great weekend.

I'm in love with it. I can't think of a single thing that I don't like, and my two favorite things are the staircase(s) and the barn. Since I have never lived in New Jersey, I can't say whether I would want to live there, but I sure can say that I would want to own that spread. Just beautiful.

If you win the lottery, can I come visit?
