Unfortunately, this estate in California has already sold.  Otherwise, you know I’d be there to buy it at $6,500,000.00!  I’m such a silly dreamer.

Although I could never afford something like this, and I’m not sure I’d want the upkeep if I could afford it, I am still inspired by seeing beautiful properties.  Sometimes, these properties give me ideas that could be incorporated into my “normal” home.

Paseo-Monte-Vista-0488[1]I’m still fighting Bronchitis, so there won’t be commentary with these photos.  Some of you may be glad that I’m just going to let you soak in this beauty without having to wade through any thoughts from me.

What a lovely place to relax.  I hope you have a relaxing weekend.  laurie

What a beautiful home, but too big for 2 old people to ramble around in...guess I will stay put!
Hope you get over the bronchitis. I don't like being sick, but especially in warm weather, it seems worse.
Have a kicked back weekend, Laurie.

Wow, wow and wow! I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of having that much space! I like how much natural light fills that home- and I love the stairwell. I hope your bronchitis clears up soon. I had something last spring that lasted for 2 months.

Yep, I could live there in a hearbeat. Gorgeous.

I, too, love to look at these beautiful properties and get ideas from them... for instance, the beautiful blue light fixtures in the kitchen, not at all what I expected! Hope you are feeling better.

I didn't catch the teal pendants over the table in the kitchen dining area until I went back and looked again. The art work in the dining room picks up the same color. Very nice. I hope you feel better very soon Laurie.
